The focus of ESC’s Fundraising consulting is to assist Executive Directors & Boards in planning and establishing strategies needed to build and/or expand fundraising, and analyze their readiness for fundraising efforts. The Fundraising Program is tailored to meet the needs of the individual nonprofit in relation to their existing fundraising efforts, experience and needs. The primary focus is to provide the nonprofit with an understanding of the fundraising process along with tools and strategies for effective planning.

Potential Fund Development Activities we can help with:

• Addressing the need for a fund development committee to provideBoard leadership
• Working with the Board and Fund Development Committee to articulate the compelling need for funds
• Analyzing current donors and the potential to expand the donor base
• Encouraging strategies for donor cultivation and involvement
• Preparing a fundraising plan with annual goals and a budget
• Developing a communication plan focused on informing, involving and building donor relationships
• Assessment of events as a fundraising strategy
• Identifying specific ways all Board members can contribute to the fundraising effort. Training for the Board in making an “elevator speech”
• Assistance with the writing of a Case Statement.
