This new Virtual Training: Resilience –Staying the Course When the Going Gets Tough is an open ESC workshop for any staff or board members wanting to realize proven techniques for adapting, adjusting, and managing the stresses and uncertainty during these challenging times. We will look at and address the impacts of: Quarantine and stress on health, relationships and brain function. Participants will learn techniques to build resiliency and a mindset that will help   in better problem solving, creativity, intentionality and motivation in weathering these times.

This workshop is appropriate for individuals in organizations of all sizes and ranges, and is suitable for staff as well as management. It is intended for individuals who wish to better understand the mindset and practices that enhance leadership, interpersonal skill, problem solving, health and immune function.

The emphasis will be on providing attendees with useful and practical knowledge that can be used immediately. Whether you are new to your agency’s or have substantial experience in the nonprofit environment, this workshop will provide insights and tools to build your ability to be more resilient, proactive and better able navigate the myriad work and life challenges in our current health and economic landscape.

This virtual workshop will be presented in an interactive format and will include proven insights from thought leaders including Martin Seligman PHD, Barbara Frederickson PhD, Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell and Victor Frankl.  Interactive exercises will aim at integrating key insights in attendees daily professional and personal lives. After the presentation, the presenter will remain to respond to questions and further discussion for attendees.

Peter Metzner MA, MPA, PCC, BCC  is President of Dynamic Change Inc.  Before founding DCI, he was employed by the Center for Creative Leadership, where he helped customize executive development and training programs for major businesses and corporations.
