Fireside Chats

ESC is bringing back its successful Fireside Chat Series for the fall of 2023. We have a series of interesting topics planned with some exciting guest speakers. The Fireside Chats provide an easy, low-risk way to learn about certain nonprofit topics of interest before investing in a more intensive workshop. They are one hour in length and feature a panel of knowledgeable experts from ESC and the community. The format is informal question and answer with a moderator. You also have a chance to meet other nonprofit leaders from the Triangle to discuss common issues around a topic.  Space is limited and you must register in advance.  The cost per session is $30.

Anti-Racism Series

As we all bear witness to this pivotal time in history, we recognize the need to bring about real change in a real and meaningful way. Many nonprofit leaders are being challenged to address racism in their personal lives, communities served, and the nonprofit organizations they lead. We realize it’s not enough to be merely non-racist. It is, instead, imperative to our organization’s mission and future, that we create anti-racist and inclusive cultures. In support of our communities and this work, ESC is excited to introduce a three-part Anti-Racist Leadership Speaker Series.  Each session will tackle critical lessons and provide resources to assist you in your anti-racism leadership journey. Our speakers are well-respected in their areas of expertise and eager to provide you with practical guidance.

The cost per session is $40.
