The goal of board development consulting is to help your board become more effective. This can make your organization more successful in fulfilling its mission and help make the work of your board members more positive and meaningful.
Every board development engagement begins with an assessment of the current functioning of the board, identifying those practices and characteristics that are working well and those that require improvement. ESC consultants will work closely with you to develop a set of recommendations about areas for improvement and suggested courses of action.
Our program is tailored to your nonprofit’s needs, size and stage of growth and is offered in four, flexible modules:
- Initial overall assessment
- Board roles and responsibilities
- Board membership/composition
- Board organization and operations
Any module can be used as a stand-alone engagement or in combination, depending on your needs.
Good to Great Workshop

Organizations will be invoiced for the fee if selected to participate.
